We are currently seeking a Software Developer Co-op with a strong foundation in software development, specifically in AI-driven UI tool development and SQL database management. The successful candidate will engage in code reviews, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of AI-enhanced user interfaces and robust database solutions. 

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, review, and test software for AI-driven applications
• Develop and optimize AI UI tools and SQL database systems to display and manage data efficiently
• Implement CI/CD processes and pipelines for AI-related projects
• Develop secondary software utilities, testing frameworks, and prototype applications with a focus on AI integration
• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair AI and database components in existing software
• Provide and accept feedback on work related to AI tools and database solutions from team members
• Produce documentation, manuals, user guides, and other technical documents related to AI and database technologies
• Interface with internal and external customers for AI software requirements management and acceptance testing

 
Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Computer Science Bachelor Degree with a focus on AI or equivalent
• Experience developing frontend and backend web applications with an emphasis on AI-driven features
• Experience with Python, C++, AI frameworks, and real-time AI development
• Some experience with Node.js, Express, React, Websockets, and AI frameworks is ideal
• Familiarity with front-end UI frameworks like JQuery, Bootstrap, Material-UI, and their application in AI projects
• Knowledge in REST API design and development, particularly for AI data management
• Experience with SQL databases and integrating them with AI tools
• Experience with Visual Studio Code, Linux, Git, Jira
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, especially in AI development
• Must be a team player and willing to learn

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Typescript and its use in AI development
• An understanding of Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, and their application in AI environments
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, solutions, and best practices in AI contexts
• Familiarity with real-time network I/O, thread management, video processing, and AI processing
• Familiarity with multiple languages in addition to English
